I know it has been a few weeks since I posted, but rest assured I have been busy. As you can see I've spent a significant amount of time updating my site and tweaking a few things here-and-there to try to offer the best site possible. I have also been working on a few extensions for blogengine.net:
- Resource Center Extension: This extension will allow you to store all the links you post on your blog in a central location and offer a categorized "Links & Resources" area. An example of the desired output can be seen at Scott Hanselman's Tools List page. You will also be able to group links by a specific tag and included them into any post just like you do with the QuickerLinks extension.
- Roadmap Extension: Track the status of your website with this extension by planning future releases and choosing which to make available to your readers.
- Picasa/Flickr Extension: I'm still in the planning stages with this extension, but I think it is about time that blogengine.net had a photo album made available to its many users.
I plan to continue on a more defined route with this blog by focusing specifically on technology. I previously was taking the "jack-of-all-blog-topics" approach, but found that I enjoy covering technology more than anything else. I'll be sure to include some quality technology humor whenever possible to keep things fresh. =]
